Dear Parent / Carer, March Meal Price Increase We hope your child(ren) have been enjoying our school lunches. We strive to provide a range of daily options that remain popular, nutritious and produced from ethicaly sourced raw ingredients that require a good standard of craft ski l to prepare. It wi l come as no surprise to you that folowing the recent budget announced by the Chancelor it wi l be more chalenging than ever from April next year to provide a sustainable, quality food service at a price acceptable to everyone that uses it. The main impact to al caterers wi l be the increase in staffing costs (up to 13.75% for some positions). In addition, you wi l have seen in the media that food costs continue to grow. For our menus, this represents a circa 8% increase. We wi l continue to try and mitigate these additional costs, however, as a result, we wi l reluctantly need to reflect them (in part) in our charges from the start of the summer term. Your two course school meal price from 31st March 2025 wi l be: £2.46 (For Nursery Children) £2.89 (For children in Key Stage 2) Please note, children eligible for Benefit-Related Free School Meals and Universal Free School Meals (Reception, Year 1, and Year 2) wi l continue to receive their meals free of charge.
