This week we made Easter buns. We loved experimenting with chocolate!
We discussed how we melt chocolate and what happens when chocolate is put in the microwave.
Ruby- “It is going all squishy”.
Zara- “It is so runny”.
Cooper- “It will be all hot now”.
We mixed our chocolate into the rice crispies and we spoke about how the mixture became thicker. We waited patiently and took turns mixing and making sure we had the right amount of spoonful’s of mixture in our bun cases.
We then counted out our smarties to finish our buns off.
We put them into the fridge and waited for them to set.
Paddy- “They will go cold in the fridge”.
Iris- “They will all stick together”.
Jessie- “It will make them hard”.
