Reading for pleasure from an early age benefits children throughout their education and beyond. This year for World book day we dressed up as our favourite characters and celebrated by reading our favourite books.
We took part in a book swap where we shared our love of reading and discovered exciting new books to take home. We also completed a World book day challenge where we had to help Jack escape from the giant in the beanstalk.
Lakeland- “My favourite book is Ship Ahoy its about pirates”.
Cooper- “I like reading books about cakes and cupcakes”.
Jesse- “I love paw patrol books”.
Cooper- “I like the Gruffalo, I am even dressed as the Gruffalo”.
