Happy Friday
Last Friday, I took a team of Cross-country runners to De Lacy Academy for a Five Towns competitions.
All pupils who attended did amazing and I am thrilled to say that we WON!!
Points were accumulated based on positions they placed, therefore, the lower the score the better.
In the words of the competition organiser “And the winners, with a really low score are…Fairburn View”.
With this win, we have now qualified for a bigger Wakefield competition that will be held in March.
We also had some pupils place in the top 3, which is an amazing achievement.
I am really proud of what this group of runners have achieved.
