This half term we have been learning to count and order numbers to 20. We had a lot of fun in the outdoor classroom making flower numbers. We used our fine motor skills to pick and thread the flower stems through holes in the card and form the numbers. We used our mathematical knowledge to put the numbers in the correct order. Mrs Payne challenged us by mixing the numbers up! We then planted some wild flower seed balls back into the soil to replace the flowers we had used. Over the next half term, we will watch them grow and do some observational drawings of the flowers.
