This week, we have been learning all about pigs as part of our farm topic. We have learnt a lot about where food comes from and we have discovered this week that pigs give us ham, bacon, sausages and pork. To celebrate all our hard work, we ended the week with a pig picnic! We used our fine motor skills to handle cutlery and spread butter on some bread, then we chose either bacon or sausage and ate our delicious sandwiches!
During review time, we did some fantastic writing about our pig picnic and all the games we played. We used our phonics to sound out words, thought about our tricky words and used full stops. Have a look at the photos to see!
