On Tuesday the whole school had an RE day. Nursery joined in with this but we have decided to extend it over the week. Our focus has been on Noah’s Ark.
The children have enjoyed listening to the story of Noah, singing the animals went in two by two and using our Noah’s Ark resources. Together the children have shared the resources and retold the story using the small world animals. They’ve spent a long time working together to build an Ark with the crates in the building and construction area, finding animals from around the classroom to take on the ark. They have mixed colours to paint animals for our Noah’s Ark display and enjoyed playing matching pairs games, sorting animals into pairs for the ark.
What a fantastic game week we are having expiring this wonderful story.
