To celebrate the start of the Euro’s, I have decided to hold a Football tournament for years 1 – 6 this Friday 11th June. I have done this for previous Euro’s and World Cups and they have been very popular.
Under current guidelines, we still cannot allow parents/carers to attend and spectate like we have previously, which is obviously a shame. However, we are still going to go ahead and take lot’s of pictures.
Each pupil is allocated a team (all in line with actual Euro’s groupings) and everyone will play three 5 minute Football matches. To avoid cross contamination when using bibs, I have allocated each team a colour, if possible, it would be very beneficial if your child could wear a t-shirt of that colour, along with shorts and trainers (NO Football boots please!) If you feel you are struggling and do not have the correct colour t-shirt, please make sure your child arrives in full PE kit.
The weather is predicted to be warm, so please ensure your child has a bottle of water and is wearing sun protection.
All names of pupils, their allocated team and colour to be worn can be found on the attached document.
I look forward to seeing everyone Friday.
