This term we are going to continue our topic ‘I wanna play in a band’. Firstly I would like you to follow the link and login https://www.WakefieldMusicServicesOnline.co.uk/yumu You will need to click on step 1 for todays lesson.
Firstly I would like you to listen to ‘I wanna play in a band’ and describe it to me – Did you like it and why? What instruments could you hear? What style of music is it?. Then, I would like you tell tell me what pulse and pitch mean?
Now, I would like you to have a go at learning the song. There are plenty of actions and movement in this song so I want to see you moving in time with the music. Do a little bit at a time to make sure we are saying the right words and moving in time – Listen to the beat!
If you would like to show me your performance of ‘I wanna play in a band’ – fab!. Record yourself, you can do it with your sisters/brothers, and post it onto your year group Facebook page.
