No matter what stage your child is at and whether they are working with smaller or larger numbers, it is good for their mathematical development to recognise numbers in different places.
Have a look around your home and whilst out on your daily walks or at the shop. See if your child can see numbers. Do they notice them on clocks, packaging, electrical items, buses, front doors? Go on a number hunt and see which numbers your child already knows. Make a note of the ones they do and don’t recognise to help you support them with their number development. Send us your photographs and tell us how they got on! Happy hunting.
