Today we would like you to have a go at writing your name.
First let your child have a go independently. Do not show them their name or tell them the letter sounds they need. This way you can see what they have remembered and how much they can do independently.
If your child can write their name, then work with them on forming their letters correctly.
If your your child cannot yet write their name then you can use a name card or write their name in pencil and let them write over the top or copy underneath.
Please work on this as often as you can. Make sure you show them how to hold their pencil correctly.
