On Monday 19th October, we had a whole school science day and we did AMAZING! Every year group focussed on their recovery curriculum (the topics from during lockdown), so we covered a huge range of things. From how sounds are made and travel, to animals and their life-cycles, as well as looking at the properties of materials. It was so important for us to go back and make sure we caught up with everything, so the children would not have gaps in their science learning. They and the staff had an amazing time, they conducted experiments, investigated new topics and discussed scientific application. Some children even went out to use our excellent new Forest School. Well done Fairburn View, you were Brilliant!
