As part of our RE topic, we have been looking into how religion impacts our charitable values. A volunteer from St. George’s Crypt visited us in school to explain how the charity based organisation, for the homeless works. After discuss as a year group how we could help this charity, we took part in a sponsored silence, in which we raised £250. Finally we visited the centre to learn more about how our money would be spent and used to help those who need support at this stage in their life.
