This half term our question in RE has been “Why do some people believe that life is a journey and what significant experiences mark this?”
We have discussed the significant experiences in our own lives and looked at significant experiences in Christian and Sikhs lives.
Here are some photos of us acting out how Sikhs welcome babies when they are born. We found it interesting to find out that the baby is named by opening the Sikh holy book on a random page and choosing a name that begins with the first letter of a hymn on this page.
