In Year 1 we have been looking at plants. We took a flowering plant apart and learnt the names of all its parts, touching, smelling and looking at each. We then learnt what plants need to survive and grow, to test this out we made our very own experiment. We planted three lots of cress and placed them in different locations, some we watered and some we didn’t. We looked at these each day to observe what had changed.
